Laura Bowler

Dr. Laura Bowler attended the University of Winnipeg for her undergrad where she obtained an Honor’s in Biology and her 4-year Biochemistry degree, for which she received the Gold Medal. She attended Graduate School at the University of Manitoba with an NSERC scholarship and received her PhD in Medical Microbiology. Her research focused on chronic infections in Cystic Fibrosis patients.
She currently serves on the advisory board for the Manitoba Center for Health Policy Research, helps manage projects for Bad Science Watch, and is the President of the local community charity group.
