Alison Rebman

BA, MPH

 

Alison Rebman is a Senior Research Data Analyst at the John Hopkins School of Medicine and a Co-Director for Clinical and Epidemiologic Research at the John Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center. She has a BA in Anthropology from Oberlin College and a Master’s of Public Health from Columbia University.

 

Alison has over 10 years experience as a collaborator and research coordinator of both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives. Her interests are in global health, chronic and infectious diseases, and sex and gender-based differences in health. With her colleague at the John Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center, Dr. Aucott, she has overseen the design and implementation of the Studies of Lyme Immunology and Clinical Events (SLICE), an on-going translational clinical research program which gathers data and biosamples from well characterized patients. As a result of this and other collaborations, they have published over 25 peer-reviewed manuscripts from a diverse range of disciplines related to Lyme disease and post-treatment Lyme disease.

 

Alison is a Co-Applicant on the grant. With Dr. Aucott, she will advise on the creation and maintenance of the national patient cohort and biobank, collaborate on analyses of clinical data and biobank samples, and will serve as International members of the Scientific Advisory Board.
